a yellow face that is typically depicted with its eyes closed, eyebrows arched, and saliva dribbling from one corner of its lips. frequently employed to express desire for an item (such as mouthwatering food) or person (sexy, appealing). may also be a sign that someone is drowsy or exhausted.

Not to be confused with Sleepy Face or Face Savoring Food. Samsung's previous design had a shocked expression on its face.

In 2016, the Drooling Face was approved for inclusion in Unicode 9.0 and introduced to Emoji 3.0.
