A yellow face, its tongue poking out in a humorous manner, with huge, open eyes and an enormous smile. Can communicate a variety of emotions, including amusement, enthusiasm, playfulness, cuteness, happiness, or humor, as in "Just kidding!"

Less cartoonish than Squinting Face With Tongue and less lively than Winking Face With Tongue, in general. Previously, Samsung had a more mocking expression, and Google had a more defeated one. Because of its protruding tongue, be aware that there are suggestive applications and interpretations for this smiley.

Originally named "Face with Stuck-Out Tongue," Face with Tongue was approved as part of Unicode 6.1 in 2012 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
