E1.0 face without mouth, Emoji

A face that was yellow, with simple, open eyes and no mouth—as though it was speechless. Although the meaning can vary greatly, it usually expresses stillness, humility, and speechlessness. May also express feelings of grief, dissatisfaction, or disappointment that are moderately negative.

Previously, Samsung's design included flushed cheeks and elevated eyebrows. Face Without Mouth was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
