E1.0 slightly smiling face, Emoji

A yellow face with a thin, shuttered smile and plain, wide eyes. conveys a variety of upbeat, joyous, and amiable emotions. Moreover, it may have a condescending, passive-aggressive, or sarcastic tone, as though to suggest that everything is alright when it's not.

2014 saw the approval of the Slightly Smiling Face for inclusion in Unicode 7.0, and in 2015 it was added to Emoji 1.0.
