A yellow face, frowning, eyes downcast and shuttered as though in agony or sadness. may elicit a range of unpleasant feelings, such as tension, regret, guilt, disappointment, and grief.

Like Pensive Face, but with an expression that's hurtful and sadder. In the past, Samsung's design had an expression more like to Confused Face. The Disappointed Face was accepted into Unicode 6.0 in 2010 and included in Emoji 1.0 the following year.
