E1.0 confused face, Emoji

A yellow face, its eyes open, its frown distorted, as though it were biting its lip or scrunching its cheeks. A look of uncertainty.

It can be used to express uncertainty or bewilderment, but it's also frequently used to express mild displeasure, annoyance, and grief.

This emoji has a ❓ Red Question Mark in Huawei's design. Prior to now, Samsung and Microsoft had added raised eyebrows and a rotated S-shaped mouth, similar to the:S emoticon. A wrinkled brow was also a former feature of Google's design.

2012 saw the approval of Confused Face for inclusion in Unicode 6.1, and in 2015 it was added to Emoji 1.0.
