A traditional dejected expression. A yellow face with a wide, steep scowl and simple, open eyes. May express sentiments of loving grief, similar to missing a loved one, and mild worry or disappointment. Compared to Slightly Frowning Face, which features a lesser frown, its sentiment is typically more powerful.This smiley comes before support for Unicode emojis. Although Samsung tinted the face white in its early designs, the Unicode moniker White Frowning Face does not relate to skin tone or ethnicity. In 1993, the "White Frowning Face" Unicode 1.1 was approved, and in 2015, Emoji 1.0 included the Frowning Face.
